Kenji

Name means "intelligent second son; strong and vigorous" in Japanese.

Red Bean Bun dragons are the most fluffy and active in the morning within Taji Bakery. It begins with the nest being built atop a natural hot spring in a layered and circular construction. The base is lined with white rose petals and then several layers of bamboo to shield the eggs from the boiling water. From within the layers the eggs will maintain the ideal temperature to hatch.

Once the eggs are laid, healthy hatchling eggs will double in size from the steam, Aimi will then gently knead each egg carefully and then tuck them under herself to gather steam. If any of the eggs do not grow there is no reason to worry, that one is simply the runt of the litter. Red Bean Bun dragon young will first eat their egg shells as it is a vital source of nutrients and provides them their initial boost of sweetness.

Their lovely scarlet coloring comes from a healthy diet of Azuki beans that are grown within the Eastern part of the world. Hatchlings eat these as a primary source of nutrition within the first two to three years of their life before the coloring will be permanent. The elegant decorations adorning their body is a symbol of peace and prosperity, a blessing from Kenji and Aimi to your clan.
