Biography

Leopard was hatched in the plague lands, with 3 siblings, he was never close with any of them as he was quickly thrown into the market. Before he was, he would often wander around the other plague dragons, seeing the scars and bones that lined them. After he was bought, he was put into a huge wagon with many other hatchlings. He would watch from a gap in the wood as when they stop, another dragon would come up to the wagon, most of the time with bigger and different dragons. Soon they left the plague lands, and they entered a dark, drab and shady place, it scared Leopard, but then, he didn’t have a name. But as it went, the strange creatures kept dragging the other hatchlings away, until he was the last one left. Soon, he got the confidence to look out at the edge of the wagon, so he did, as the terrain got more rocky and earthy, the wagon wheel hit a rock, sending poor Leopard into the dirt. He looked back at the wagon as it kept moving, leaving him. He was terribly afraid, so he looked for something he knew, and he saw a huge forest, and he booked it, he ran as fast as little legs could carry him. He soon was lost in the world of bamboo and long grass. He found a another dragon soon enough, the other dragon look like his father, so he ran to the other male,wrapping his paws around his leg, scaring the other young dragon. The dragon carefully picked up the smaller kid, and carried Leopard to the rest of the group. From the other dragons there, he gained the name “Leopard”. He never knew who he was going too, yet he is happy as he could want. (thanks to shrimped for writing the above lore!) |

As he began to grow up, he gained a love for his group and his new friends. He grew especially close to Raven and Moonlight, as they had shown him around their lair, and even began to make his nest for him. No matter how much he loved them both, he began to grow envious of their beautiful wings. Eventually, he sat alone in his nest, dreading having to play with the gorgeous dragons while he was so dark and gloomy. At the end of the day, his two friends came looking for him. He was still sitting in the corner of his nest, looking out towards the plateau of grass, so he had not noticed them come in. They asked what was wrong, startling him, and he could not get an excuse out in time before they interrupted. He was forced to tell the truth, and when he did, his two friends looked over to each other. They looked back at him and began to reassure him that he was beautiful too. They complimented his patterns of blue and his spots. They told him that his spikes were lovely and that he shouldn't feel like they were better than him just because they had brighter colours. From that day he knew that they were real friends, and he has grown closer to them ever since. (thanks to Peanut5000 for that bit of lore!) |
