Dusk falls. The sun sinks behind the rows of barren trees, delivering a final soft, golden shimmer to the dusty ground. The heat of the day disappears and leaves the burned village to sit, abandoned and forgotten, swallowed now by a blue darkness with the only light cast by the crescent moon. A wingless dragon emerges from the dead trees, all but a silhouette in the night. Slowly, he runs his hand across a soot covered pillar, leaving behind long, clean tracks where his fingers touched. As he makes his way to the center of the village, moonbeams begins to wash over him; like the soot that he wiped away from the pillar, lines of muted pink begin to trail down his smoky gray body...

Sazha is not a typical dragon. He plays no major role in the BoneShard Court; he simply lingers through the territory at night and, by dawn, seems to disappear. He doesn't show signs of being a danger to the clan, so nobody is concerned by his presence. The one thing about Sazha that confuses many of the BoneShard members is that they simply do not know why he exists. He takes no notice in the glances he gets at times, nor does he answer questions about himself. He is mute, partially deaf, and seems to see only with his second set of eyes. He was born with two sets of arms and legs, just as the Plaguebringer had intended all those years ago. However, he has no wings, and is therefore completely flightless.

Mythos- Sazha is not a dragon at all. He was formed from a combination of the Earthshaker and Shadowbinder's magic. Simply put, he is a demigod. He gains his power from the waxing and waning of the Sorniethian moons. On new moons, his scales are a dull, sooty gray. As full moons approach, his pinstripe markings grow longer and brighter across his body. Feathered wings matching his colors grow from his shoulders, and he is able to take flight for (typically) one day out of the month. Trails of gold glitter-like particles follow behind him, like stars dotting the night sky. Once the full moons begin to wane, these particles fall to the earth like soot and ash in a fire. Though mysterious to the clan, Sazha is a benevolent being. He dislikes conflict and finds happiness in bringing others joy. |
