Byron is the lead hunter for the Postal Service, responsible for maintaining meat stores and managing hunting patrols. He is often away from the clan on such patrols, spending days scouring the nearby Viridian Labyrinth or the Tangled Wood for prey and making camp along the way. The food he brings back is typically dried and cured, so fresh meat is a prized commodity among the dragons here.

Recently, he has taken a step back from his patrols to assist in recovering the stolen artifact from a recent raid. As a favor to Merlot, he is currently attempting to track the thieves through the Viridian Labyrinth to where they have hidden, but the trail is strangely difficult to follow...
