Athos is an optimistic dreamer who, despite having been raised in a high-income family in Creshan with pressure from both sides to do something just as profitable, is very happy in his dead-end job at a gardening and flower arrangement store. He's quiet with an eye for the aesthetic and a surplus of appreciation for things he deems underappreciated or unnoticed. Some people say that makes him a hipster, and although he acts like he doesn't mind he really does. He can be a bit callous at times and is notoriously bad with social cues, and absolutely uses that to his advantage when he just really does not have the energy to care about something.

He would have liked to say that Areta caught his eye the instant he started living with the rest of the clan, but in reality Athos only began even giving him so much as a second glance once Areta and Callie broke up. When Areta did catch his eye Anastasia was a week old and being carried on her father's back as he worked at the coffee shop down the street, and they started dating two months later after a miscommunication, a half-rejection, and a clarification that Areta's first priority would always be his daughter. Athos and Areta are now long-term boyfriends (and intending on keeping it that way) who love making art and sharing it with each other, and have infodumping as their primary love language.
