Aurum was a wondering Imperial with a peculiar penchant for archery when he discovered the Solstice Clan. He met Dion, one of Fafnir's personal knights, and the two had a friendly duel. While Dion is more than a match in skill, Aurum emerged victorious due to his superior skills in flight and the ability to attack from a distance. Fafnir, the clan's current head, witnessed this battle and sought to have the golden imperial's skills on his side.

It took quite a bit of convincing to make Aurum leave his formerly wandering lifestyle for one that was situated in a clan, but he eventually gave in to the crystalline imperial. From that day on, he became one of the members of the Council - Fafnir's Archer. He seems to have grown to enjoy clan life as well, having developed quite the crush on one of the female imperials, the one of three sisters by the name of Marigold.

Now, whenever a threat is reported, Aurum is more often than not the first responder to the call. His skills in flight are almost unmatched by the other imperials, and his arrows rarely miss their mark. Some say his innate elemental affinity as a water dragon contributes to this, but he thinks nothing of it. However, he is definitely the most dexterous dragon on the council, only Aradhel being able to match his deft movements. Yet, he has no personal reason to bear allegiance to Fafnir...
