Obscuro is the keeper of the Salt Fork Lighthouse. His gaunt, unsettling appearance and dislike of going out in the daytime have given him a macabre reputation in town, especially among the more imaginative hatchlings. Other than tending the light, Obscuro is an amateur meteorologist and astronomer, with the latter knowledge gained mostly from books. The flame may be a boon for nearby ships, but it does have a tendency to blot out the stars. Given that he has to sleep during the day in order to be awake at night to mind the light, Obscuro doesn't have many friends in town. They mostly know him as a strange, overly-friendly guy who tends to limp into shops at the crack of dawn or closing time, full of energy at the times that everyone else is dead tired. About the only dragon that keeps the same odd hours as he is the ghost he shares the lighthouse with. Bauhaus is as stubborn in death as in life, refusing to leave her post even after gaining the ability to float up the stairs instead of climbing then. |

Since the lighthouse is on the waterfront, it technically falls under Rambo's responsibility. Every few months she'll go to look the place over and have a cup of tea. Obscuro enjoys the visits. |
