Icarus met his end ensnared in the branches of a weeping willow he attempted to rest in. His body was found by the Vespertine Colony on their patrol through the portion of the Tangled Wood they'd dubbed the Eclipsing Weald -- dark, dangerous, and cursed.
While they and Clan Umbra originally intended on giving the young one a proper burial, Aphelion the necromancer's heart broke for the poor child, and he worked tirelessly with the help of the Umbral Coven to re-animate him.
Their hard work paid off, and they were able to give young Icarus a second chance. Due to being kept alive with magic, Icarus will no longer age physically, though his intelligence and wisdom will grow through the years.
In his new life, Icarus still exhibits the fearlessness and unending curiosity of a child, with full knowledge of what happened to him. He refers to himself as "the Ghost of the Weald", and wanders the woods for days on end. He is known to pester or play with passersby, be they clanmates or strangers.
