As they grew older, they realized that it was no longer satisfactory to be on their own like this, unprotected and unsafe. It was around this time that they met Aequum. He was a tiny blue fae dragon with green eyes and nothing particularly special about him and yet he was intriguing. It was clear that he knew the language of the coatls as well as others and he seemed empathetic towards their situation and well-versed in how to handle such situations like that. Aequum led them through Sornieth and they exchanged stories and even gathered more friends along the way. Eventually, their party ended up at the edge of the Windswept Plateau. Aequum seemed hesitant to move forward and to go within the land in front of them but refused to explain why. Instead of answering the many questions of the party, he instead gave them directions. To where? No one knew. Yet they trusted Aequum by now and he sent them on their way. Lurra and Edre found themselves without a parental figure but they still had the others. They trekked through the land and eventually found a small clan known as the Avolare Clan. By now they were exhausted from the long journey and everyone wanted to rest if not settle at the very least. Once within the clan they explained that Aequum had sent them for no reason and the clan ultimately seemed shocked. They immediately set up places for them to stay and treated everyone in the party with the utmost importance. Later, Edre and his sister found that Aequum had actually been missing for a long time and was not in contact with the clan at all. However, there was nothing that they could actually do and eventually the shock faded and everyone seemed to settle in. Some dragons from the party moved on from the clan but Edre and Lurra felt a need to stay. Something tethered them to the clan and they found themselves fascinated. It was Lurra who made the final decision to stay and the clan was delighted. The twins honed their skills and eventually they became known as the Twin Mechanics of Avolare. Nowadays, their lives are more peaceful. They spend their days relaxing and tinkering away in the clan. They help out their clanmates and have even made some new friends and opened up about a lot. Edre likes to play in the woods as well as tinker of course. His friends consist of Aukai and his mate, Mandisa. He and his sister are as close as ever and they plan to go wherever the wind takes them. As long as they're together, nothing could be better.
