Many pray to Gerard for inspiration, and the strength to finish a passion project. Burn outs live by his rule, and hope against all hope that they may guide them through their misery and late nights of love and war.

He slips into a mortal form frequently, taking on mortal lovers for their lifetimes and sharing his art with the people he surrounds himself with.

Gerard's never really seen himself worthy of a throne or a place in the pantheon. He's long since given up trying to convince people that he's out of place. But he hasn't made it easy for the other gods and demigods to coexist with him.

The passionate being has an infectious charisma that attracts many kinds of people. It leads to strange forms of worship and emulation. Gerard knows of his effect on his followers, he's not very excited about the cult-ish behaviour. The god's been known to avoid many of his cult, preferring to associate himself with the calmer or more individual followers. His persona, forged in fire and mind altering rituals, is what gets fixated on the most. He's constantly running from the looming pressure to become the mask he wears in revelries.
