B I O G R A P H Y

______ Poseidon is rarely seen in the village. He spends most of his time deep underground, mining for jewels to give to his mate, Maisie. Although he was born in the Sunbeam Ruins, his parents had originally lived in the Sea of a Thousand Currents and gave him a name to honour that memory. As he grew up, Poseidon slowly grew more and more fascinated with what lay underground, and started sneaking into mines and deep cave systems to find out. He was enchanted by the beauty that he saw, and left for the Ashfall Waste as soon as he grew up. It was there that he met Maisie, who was there to buy the gems she needed to make her jewellery. The two of them saw each other often there and slowly became friends. After a while, they became business partners, with Poseidon supplying Maisie with the gems she needed for free with the two of them sharing the profits evenly. After this arrangement, the two of them started spending more time with one another, eventually becoming mates. Still, Maisie eventually felt the desire to explore Sornieth, and eventually they left to fulfill her wishes. They journeyed all over Sornieth, eventually coming across Frostfall Village. They stayed in it for a little while, the village having agreed to provide them with shelter as they explored the Icefields for potential mines. They eventually found an area they could use, and by that point, the pair had grown attached to the village. They asked to be allowed to stay permanently, and were gladly welcomed, becoming beloved members of the village.

______ Poseidon is a hardworking dragon. Once he’s given a task, he will stop at nothing to complete it, doubly so if it’s something he is passionate about. He enjoys his job a lot, and his glowing wings are actually an enchantment he specifically requested to give him light in the caves. Despite no longer living in the Ashfall Waste, he remembers his time there fondly and returns there every time the Winds of Frostfall make their trip there, joining them temporarily until they leave. Despite growing up in the Sunbeam Ruins, he worships the Flamecaller instead of the Lightweaver, finding his values more in line with the Fire deity.
