阿罗拉的梦想(dream)是当一名骑士(Knight)。这在男孩子当中并不是什么稀奇事，毕竟骑士的威风和荣耀(pride and honor)是每个男子汉都向往的。但阿罗拉是一位娇弱的少女(maiden)。她曾在家的窗前看着游行庆典(parade)中街道上被人们用欢呼与鲜花簇拥着鱼贯而过的威风凛凛的骑士列阵，从那时起，她在心里埋下了这颗梦想的种子。

当她将自己的梦想说给父母(parents)听的时候，父母无不惊诧不已(surprised)。先抛开这件事听上去有多大胆和可笑(bold and ridiculous)不说，即使他们同意了，国王(King)的卫队也不会接纳一个娇弱的女子。然而阿罗拉不依不饶(still insist her mind)，最终在她的软磨硬泡下，父母终于答应让她去习武，但并没有指望她能坚持下去。

这对于一个十几岁的少女来说是非常艰苦(hard)的一件事，每天高强度(intense)的训练(training)使她疲惫不堪，但阿罗拉从来没有喊过一次累，没有抱怨过一次苦。最终当阿罗拉学有所成(succeed in her study)，她的老师也惊异了。这件不平常(extraordinary)的事一传十，十传百，很快传到了国王的耳朵里。他召见(call)了阿罗拉并邀请她与自己的骑士团中最有声望的一人进行切磋比试(competition)。当阿罗拉以娴熟的技艺获胜，国王也由衷地起立，与观众一同为她鼓掌喝彩(cheer for her)。随后，国王隆重地款待了她，并正式授予(appoint)了她骑士的职位。

自此，作为王国(kingdom)内第一位少女骑士(maiden knight)，阿罗拉实现了多年以来的梦想，也享有了梦寐以求的荣耀。
