ROMA 
Despite the prescense of Akir beaks making egg rot a thing of the past, her parents were concerned when 3 weeks had past and she had still not hatched from her egg. After some time they decided to remove the egg from the nesting grounds and were suprised to find the bottom of the shell had been broken out of. Egg shell litered the ground, and the earth below the debris began to shuffle And swell. Ma couldn't help herself. The absense of a corpse and the strange movement made her suspicious and after shifting the dirt below the rubble they found her. Her preference for darkness and the comfort of soil carried into her formative years. She avoided voices, she avoided daylight, but most of all she avoided other dragons. Only once was her mother able to hold her in her wings. After an incident involving her father machinations and her sleeping fear of fire, her parents disclaimed her, and opted to move to the ashfall heap, where they knew they would never see her again. Having been rejected by her parents, and knowing no where or anything, she settled into the grounds outside her home, and remained there for the rest of her days. Many years later an unexpected knock on the door jars Roma from years of isolation. It was hard for her to believe the dragon she met was her brother, sweating as she stared into his searing orange eyes. He was vivacious and firey and put her on edge. But a part of her could not send him away. She's spent her whole life in lament of the loss of her parents. Gardening like her Ma, tinkering like her Pa. Imoto was her only link back to them. Time passes and they soon become inseperable. His confidence in her draws her to form relationships with other dragons. His sparring lessons come in handy when she encounters a feral dragon. He aims to eat her but believes she is weak for dodging him. Their confrontation does not go according to plan, ending with Tohfi becoming a bit of a secret admirer.  |

Roma has been a recluse since youth. It is not uncommon that oddities in society are rejected by even their parents. So when hers decided to leave, she lost the opportunity to find a healthy reclusive lifestyle. She became a hermit. Prefering isolation, she managed to stay under the radar of other dragons for a long time. When she sought her mothers guidance she would garden, and found she had a golden green thumb. When she found herself to be anxious she would tinker like her Pa before her. Finding a control over the machines that had ripped so much of her life from her calmed her. Though she is kind hearted in nature, her years of solitude make her unsuited for social etiquette. She comes across as very selfish, cold, and unreceptive. Her fear of fire comes from an unknown ability of premonition. She can see images of events to come as figures dancing in flame. She believed it was the fires soul, and what she saw terrified her. Her relationship with her brother is dishonest at first. She believes he will be able to help her find her way back to her parents, but she comes to realize their reunion is not the dream she imagined. As her reality comes to be, the warm touch of her brothers supportive wing changeds her just a bit. They soon became inseparable. |
