______ Lochlari had a wonderful and happy childhood. Her father wasn’t really around, but that was of little concern to the young Pearlcatcher. She was told he was serving the Icewarden in the fight for dominance. The words meant nothing to Lochlari, so she simply enjoyed her time with her mother.

______ Living in the Southern Icefields brought Lochlari’s first love to her. Sitting outside her home clan, wrapped up in furs, Lochlari would watch the stars. She was dazed by the way they danced through the sky and the brilliant colors they brought to the otherwise pitch-black sky. It was like a diamond tapestry spilled out before her very eyes. It was those stars that blessed her. After many nights of watching the stars, they bestowed upon her a magical blessing.

______ As Lochlari grew up, her powers began to manifest more and more. As she spent more time under the stars, her love for those grew as well. She developed quite the green thumb. Despite the harsh cold of her home clan, Lochlari could grow anything. Her room was full of tiny planters with herbs and flowers.

______ When Lochlari was finally full-grown, she knew it was time for her to move on and get out of home. She bid her mother farewell and departed. All she took with her was a journal of star charts and a small pouch of seeds; wherever she went, she knew she needed to bring her love and her garden. She traveled all over for Sornieth, searching for her perfect home. She found those stars again and so many different ones. One of her favorite things was when she was in a city and there were no stars, the only light in the sky was from the moon. The night was so beautiful.

______ Eventually, Lochlari stumbled upon the Province of Amalur. It was a wonderful place for passion, knowledge, and light. It was also small enough to be able to see the stars and if she went down to the beach, to the docks, she could row out into the ocean and watch the stars from there. It was perfect. It was really everything Lochlari could have hoped for.
