Biography
Life itself is only a vision, a dream. Nothing exists save empty space and you...and you, are but a thought.
There are rumors of a dragon that wandered into the Farlands once. Tread into the blackest pit of the earth, and stared directly into the abyss, the dark heart of the world. What they sought, no one is sure of. The stories differ, but most believe that he survived, lingering close to the void, and was warped - molded by it into some strange entity neither dragonkind nor void. Some horrible in-between, a vessel of darkness.
Those who have dared set foot into the Farlands don't go too deep in, fleeing after but a few steps. They all recount the same thing, a long, monstrous, spiraling shadow, with far too many watching eyes, looming over the great pit like some sort of great old god. Always watching, his blank, horrible eyes locked onto anyone who would dare tread too close. Don't look into his eyes for too long, dear ones. You will not be able to escape his control.
We fear the day the monster finally leaves the chasm behind. What machinations could such a creature possibly hold? Or perhaps, dear reader, you should look again at the face of who is telling you this. Stare deep into their eyes and realize the dread you felt crawl down your spine was a warning you should have heeded.
I left that chasm long, long ago. And you, dear one, will never be seen again.
