About

Lenora is the healer of the Plague outpost and the one who best understands the shifts of ambient magic in the Wasteland. As such, she is often consulted for the most auspicious times for important events from nesting to organizing hunts for certain types of prey.

Where her mate is calm and collected, Lenora is outright serene. She may seem almost disconnected from the world and its troubles, but when questioned about this or faced with someone having a difficult time, she proves this is not the case. She is said to be a great listener with a deep well of wisdom that can soothe the mind of most. This can be surprising in such a young drakaina in a rather isolated settlement... but most attribute it to her insightful nature and her understanding of the larger workings of the world.

History

Lenora was a freshly grown drakaina when the nest of her home colony fell and she clung to Oleander for support at the time. As they first fled the scavengers and then searched for a spot to start a new life, though, she quickly grew from a shell-shocked and fragile drakka into a tenacious supporter and skilled healer. Her view of Oleander, too, morphed from looking up to him as almost a hero to a trusted teammate... and eventually mate who did not only protect her but also valued her insight and intuition.

It was her who came up with the idea of settling where they did, recognizing the sizable blot of fertile land in an otherwise rather arid environment for what it was - a wellspring of powerful magic. Shortly after they settled and built their nest, she and Oleander had their first clutch of eggs together, but before those could hatch they became aware of another presence in their new home. And again it was Lenora who recognized the being for what they were - a spirit - and advised Oleander to welcome them cordially which, with some reservations, he luckily did.
