Upon being thrown from the harsh winds of the twisting crescendo a young, weakened imperial lays defeated upon the plush grasses of the zephyr steeps. His wings, battered and tired, lay flattened against the ground as he slinks out in exhaustion.
For a moment he lies in peace, the gentle breeze tossing his mane left and right while he closes his eyes to rest. This moment of tranquility, however, comes to an end as the chimes of a familiar vessel ring softly in the environment. As a shadow converges over his face, he dares to open an eye, only to be readily met with the friendly and wise face of a skydancer. Though, the smug twinkle in her eye betrayed her soft expression and made clear her amusement.
"Would you like to take my offer of assistance now, traveler?" She chided lightly, shaking her wings out and softly stamping one powerful foot. The young flame imperial sighed and grumbled to himself, earning a hearty laugh from the whimsical skydancer before him. While his physical size may have dwarfed her own, the air about her made her seem larger then he may ever grow to be.
With a hesitant nod and positioning of his massive body for flight the skydancer gracefully lept to the air, her wings that spanned twice the length of her body elegantly swayed and pulled the air about her while her tail twirled in the dignified manner all that only a child of a windsinger could do. She was born to fly, and seemed as if it were nearly wrong for her to walk the earth rather than to swim through the sky. The fledgling imperial took to the skies after her, ablate in a much less dignified, and much more clumsy manner than she had.
"Then allow me, traveler, if you would, to guide you through our great father's symphony."
