This is just for my own benefit for now, don't mind this. But if you're curious, this is the canon lore that I kinda follow. Or may adjust. Just keeping it in a easy to get to place for now.:

Coatl Info:
  • Incapable to understand the monotone faes, and have native tongue.
  • Depends on the dragon if they are agreeable or have the coatl temper.
  • Often allow denmates to decorate the dens, most don't mind what it looks like.
  • I will not use anything related to mating season.
  • Purebreed coatl families do follow the superstition that duller colored coatls bring bad luck and will exile those hatchlings.
  • "Their prehensile tail can be used to secure a perch or hold custom tools." - Encyclopedia
  • "An unhealthy Coatl can be identified by fading plumage." - Encyclopedia

Skydancer Info:
  • "This ability allows the species to sense when magical energies are present, and to sense the disposition of other dragons and creatures by the subtle energy given off by their body and state of mind." - Encyclopedia
  • Due to the reading magical energies ability they are often the ones that calm any situation, but some will refuse to.
  • ".... Skydancers are an active species. They enjoy channeling their energy into elaborate dances and displays of aerial acrobatics." - Encyclopedia
  • They reeeeally care about their children. Other's hatchlings depends on the dragon, but Skydancers deeply love their own.
  • Most Skydancers don't like fighting and prefer to leave it up to the other breeds to deal with, some are exceptions to this.
  • This is my personal headcanon: Skydancers have big egos, not ones where they go and attack another dragon that is 'better' than them (they can even encourage others to get better), but ones where they over exaggerate their own abilities and greatness. Often they can be broken if something disproves what ability they spoke up, leaving them down for a little while. It takes them awhile to recover from this.

Fae Info:
  • Will follow the monotone lore, except for faes that grew up with other breeds at a young age.

Mirror Info:

Nocturne Info:
  • "...make use of an impressive wingspan to wrap themselves during the day, incubating their bodies" - Encyclopedia
  • "Although it is possible for Nocturne dragons to be active year-round in clans where they feel comfortable, the majority of unbound colonies remain staunchly hidden away and only surface to breed during the weeks following the Winter Solstice." - Encyclopedia
  • "adapts and mimics dragons they are in close proximity with.... This mimicry does not extend exclusively to species characteristics, but to the individual personalities of their clanmates." - Encyclopedia
  • Headcannon- Nocturnes can also mimic other creatures
  • Headcannon - When nocturnes get to a certain age, some may stop mimicking others, but will use what they learn to form their own personality and skills
