Greek; “Not inclined to run away”

Adrastos is a skilled swordsman & mage. Popular, affluent, skilled. He is adept in the highest level of arcana, translating his prowess with his blade. On his back rests a bright, shining jewel surrounded by runes. Like other masters of his kind, it allows him to combine and cast magic with his slashes. Occasionally, he works as both as an instructor and a mercenary.

But, Adrastos has not always been as confident as he was now. As a child, he grew up among the wilder ones of his kind. Without parents, he grew loose and detached from friends and “family” - choosing to never settle with anyone who tried to have anything more. It was upon meeting Deianeira that the young vagabond learned a little more about how to perceive relationships. The relationship was a little rocky at first, but over time, their affections for one another grew. The swordsman falls easily, but rarely clings and fear easily took hold of him when he caught on with his feelings.

But, with a crisis ready to strike his kind - he realized it was too late. He could not sway and had fallen hard for the young, unstable sorceress.
