Bellatrix

Bellatrix was cast out by her clan because of her inability to sit still and her lack of an ability to focus and think slowly. She made rash decisions that put the others at risk during hunts and her constant distracted nature resulted in her clan members slowly drawing away from her, because they couldn't keep up with her rapid subject changes and loss of interest in their conversations.

On one particularly bad occasion, Bellatrix was badly injured during a getaway in a raid, and her clan members left her behind to die or be taken prisoner by the clan they'd raided.

Thinking she was going to die and in tears because of how readily her clan abandoned her, she lay on the cold ground, cut up and bleeding, hopeless.

The raided clan found her and were ready to put her to death, when the ringmaster of the circus that had stopped by their lair stepped forwards and claimed her as one of his own.

Tenebrous, as he introduced himself during Bellatrix's recovery, owned a circus that was home to many like her, who were rejected for their differences. He offered her a job, and she took her position as the circus clown, her active and restless behavior making her a natural at her role.
