RETURN OF THE SPADE KING, BABY! This guy's a memento of my lair from back when I was still an FR newb. He's finally been reunited with his partner and is ready to continue his lineage!

Malsciens currently serves as the ruler of Spadesland, a small pocket-dimension that can be entered from the northern coast of the Sunbeam Ruins. Those who live alongside Malsciens enjoy his company and regard him as a benevolent leader... with a bit of a hoarding problem.

Whilst he does consider it important to expand the clan and, perhaps, even discover the reasons behind Spadesland's existence, the clan's overarching priority is to collect spades - of all colours and kinds - and bring them back to the lair. The common word proclaims that Malsciens has an ardent obsession with spades, but the reasoning behind it all continues to elude Spadesland's inhabitants daily. Ask around, and you'll be presented with many different speculations.

Nevertheless, the dragons of Spadesland hold their King of Spades with high esteem. Malsciens is willing to provide his loyal comrades with opportunities to pursue their personal interests, so long as they contribute to the clan and (to some extent) its collection of spades. His lively attitude and natural charisma alone make him one of the clan's most favoured members. Without the mob-mentality support that his brethren provide, Malsciens would be effectively powerless, and from deep within he probably knows this.
