Some dragons have a harder time adapting to life in the wandering contagion, and for the Shadow hatchling Pandora, it was especially a challenge. She spent her early days ill, sores covering her flesh as she cried in pain. But soon, though she suffered immensely, she stopped crying. This stubborn hatchling learned fast that to cry was to be weak and she would not be weak. It was that tenacious spirit which saved her from being abandoned, as Hecate saw the potential of the fearless, sickly creature. With Hecate's seal of approval, Pandora was quickly treated and cared for by Mofran, who reinforced her tattered wings and ensured her survival. From that point on Pandora grew stronger and stronger, rivaling even Ishtar in her ferocity.
