Lampyrid had a rough time on his Fledging day and was unable to find a clan that would accept him. His reputation for causing explosions far exceeded his reputation for making important discoveries, and he was considered a liability. Lampyrid left his clan, along with all the other newly adult dragons that had also failed to find a home, to serve under the Stormcatcher when he stopped for a break in the woods. He fell asleep and was brought back to the Wandering Clan's central hub while the elders discussed where he could work.

Familiar: Mauri
Lampyrid's fireflies are attracted to Mauri's baubles. The baubles give off a soft glow and warmth, on winter nights when the moon's light is obscured by clouds, or the light is simply too weak to see by, Lampyrid often brings Mauri close and uses his light to read runes by.

Job: Biochemist
Lampyrid works with Wylde and the clan's other alchemists to discover new properties of strange materials and hopefully avoid blowing up the lab. Their personal record is 15 days.
