Cyneric is one of Altwidus' followers, a faithful worshiper of the forest god since Altwidus' move to Shadow lands. Cyneric, born in the Driftwood Drag, has always found an interest in the local flora. Unfortunately, he has never found many dragons who share his interest in the sharp thorns and poisonous flowers that grow throughout Shadow lands. Most botanist-minded dragons are found in Nature lands, after all.

Cyneric discovered Indrali lands as he began to study the Foxfire bramble, which thickens and strengthens in sturdiness the closer one gets to clan lands. Assisted by both the House of Witches and Altwidus, the thorns that barricade Indrali territory are nearly impenetrable. Cyneric learned of the forest god during a stay at Sabine's tavern as he asked around about the bramble. Altwidus, who loves all plant life no matter how prickly, was exactly the kind of god Cyneric could worship. A few visits to the temple turned into daily ones. Once he met Mithra- who wouldn't leave him alone- and received Altwidus blessing, Cyneric settled down and began calling Indrali lands his home.

Despite his initial resistance to the female, Cyneric is a happy mate and enjoys Mithra's company. The young river goddess is just as interested in nature as he is, and encourages his hobbies and research.
