Kaen was born with a strange gift, he is able to know and see everyhing that have ever happened in Sornieth, all he needs to do is will his mind to see. Thanks to that he feels old, very, very old and more often than not absolutely tired.

His gift (or curse, depending on the day) have helped him a lot though, he can see not only the far past, but also something that happened a minute ago, in other words the imediate past and that, that is a very handy skill when it comes to sell information. He left his clan when he reached adulthood and wandered the tangled woods as an informant for many clans, getting considering rich after some years.
When he got older though, he got curious to see if he would ever have a partner and lost in such thoughts that he saw her for the first time, his mate Mirai. He had visions of her for years until she reached adulthood and went on a journey to find him, for his surprise, she was also special in an opposite way of him, her visions were of the future.

When they met it was like a hole has been filled inside of him and he was finally complete. They traveled to the Scarred Wastelands a few weeks after meeting, he being led by his love and mate to find their new and forever home.
