Biography
It was during one of the stormiest days of the year that the Redhair Pirates rescured Ellie from drowning. The waves crashed against the hull of the ship, when in a moment of utter silence, Shanks saw her drifitng in the eye of the storm. Only a wooden plank kept her above the surface.
The whole crew helped to get her on board and some still whisper that their Klabautermann had taken a fancy for Ellie, because the ship didn't waver while everyone fought against the storm to safe the young dragon. She was unconscious for quite a while, before she opened her eyes. She didn't know what had happened to her, her memory blurred. But she knew her name and that she had once lived in the realms of the Fishspine Reef. But how she had gotten on a ship, or ended up in the ocean was lost to her.
It didn't matter to the crew though, who quickly learned to love the young dragon. Also, Ellie has exceptional medical skills and now functions as the ship's doctor. Benn is grateful, because his basic skills sometimes had left them at a loss. He knows a lot, but not as much as Ellie does.
She also is able to use the water in ways no one else can. Looking at her beauty, her shimmering blue eyes, her sparkling wings ... she could be part water sprite. Maybe her grandgrandmother is a nymph, or her father is a god of the ocean. Nobody knows, not even she herself.
She just knows she loves the ocean, the wind in the sails of the Red Force, the sparkling of the sun on the waves. The laugh of a spirit in the rigging. Her crew. Her second life that was given to her through the Redhair Pirates, who safed her. She will be forever grateful for it.
