Algernon

Algernon and Anaideia are always together - nobody has ever seen them separated. He is the assertive voice of emotion of the two - while Anaideia is slow to rush to judgement or action.

They were travellers before they met Kynareth and the others of the clan half-way through the Second Age. They had intended a long pilgrimage, beginning in their homeland of the Southern Icefield and working easterly around the outer territories - they passed through Starfall Isles and Dragonhome before they began making their way through the Viridian Labyrinth. Where their travel through these areas never piqued their interests much, and in fact, they never ventured centrally enough in either land to properly visit The Observatory or The Pillar of the World, once within the Labyrinth it were as though something were calling to them from the centre that they had to investigate.

It is for this reason they came across the lair of the clan in the Shrieking Wilds - and it is also for this reason that they welcomed the role of scout and began scouting the Viridian terrain, ever more centrally - until eventually they came across Vaermina of the Wildclaw Protectors who was willing to strike up a beneficial relation between the Protectors and the clan and eventually also willing to lead them to The Behemoth...
