Incident Report

A rather odd case. Brought to the clan as a hatchling by Regris, shortly after the time of the Move, when the Clan was still settling into their new lair. Regris, it seemed, thought it best to care for the hatchling himself until the clan had sorted itself out, possessions and food safely stashed away, and lairs chosen out and built, before bringing the hatchling right into the center of camp, dropping him off, then disappearing back into the brambles. As it turns out, Jarlkin had stowed away with the caravan. |

A young dragon from the Caravan Serai.
|
Hatchlings of the Caravanserai are usually raised communally by hatchery attendants. They begin their training at a young age, first from the clan's teachers and then by a master of any trade depending on their talents and interests. Due to the clan's limited resources, young dragons are invited to leave the Caravanserai and seek their own fortune as soon as they come of age, and sooner if another clan has already taken interest in them. On very rare occasions a youngling may get lost far away from the lair before their time has come to leave - this is usually the case with those masters of trade that travel regularly and take their apprentices along with them, such as any profession likely to be part of one of the clan's caravans. Such an unfortunate loss is always mourned, but the master is rarely to blame - Sornieth is a very dangerous world, after all, and the clan's caravans are regularly under attack, not to mention naturally occuring disasters that may happen around the trading routes. |

I just,, I love this dragon. Even without apparel, he's a goddamn beauty. I may be biased though, I love male skydancers with my whole heart, as they're so pretty by themselves, but this one just grabbed my attention- The ghost gene works so well with the darker primary and secondary, and the pistachio ghost fits so nicely with his lighting eyes <3 Just like the tints of blueishgreen on his wings ;; goddamn beauty,, I'd snag him any day.!
The lore he has is also interesting, though, I read a bit of it and it's pretty attention-grabby.!

I really like the depth the leopard adds to this boy's look! It would have been easy just to put the pistachio ghost on a more blank background, but I like how busy the primary and secondary are! I also like that his apparel look is very minimal; he doesn't need a lot to look distinct, and the Gloomwillow guide really pops with the rest of his blue apparel! He's definitely a favorite of mine from your lair!
