Biography
Amedha
As a Wind musician, Amedha is often far from the library, spreading her tunes and learning new tricks. Her Tundra's memory makes it hard for her to remember a melody with perfect accuracy, but she has turned this disadvantage into a unique style, choosing to improvise rather than memorise the songs she plays. Her sets are rarely the same twice, changing with the landscape and company that surrounds her. Many an enraptured dragon ha asked her to teach them a particular song, only to be disappointed when she admits she was not paying attention to the songs she plays.
Although she makes little effort to remember her tunes, the prospect of forgetting her clan members worries her She keeps detailed notes on each of her friends to read during her journeys, her pockets spilling over with notebooks and loose sheets. Any loose space on these pages is quickly filled with the folktales and superstitions she encounters on her journeys, to remind her of the places she visits and inspire her compositions. At Nyswhen's encouragement, Amedha has penned several compilations of these stories to add to the library's collection.
When at home, Amedha can most often be found amongst a crowd, entertaining newcomers to the library on the docks or the clan's residents after shared meals. Despite her love of entertaining others, she loves above all to play at dawn. She believes that her best songs are played when she is alone amongst the pine trees on a misty morning, though she wishes she could remember them a little more clearly.
