Biography
Quinn is the leader of the Metallic Marigolds, a group dedicated to finding buried treasures, preserving treasure, deciphering scrolls/texts, and displaying (pawn shop) these treasures. Though Quinn is younger than the other guild members, he has proven himself to be the best leader for the job. The Metallic Marigolds Museum (that's what they call it) is actual a pawn shop that sells ancient treasures to travelers and trades swaps amongst fellow clan members (of course some items are handed over to specific members after they present a slip from Comet or Naomi). Their most recent discovery was an ancient ice sword wielded by a larger flightless being.
Quinn runs the shop for the clan where he often runs into scavengers who want further insight to what they have uncovered. This usually means he runs into Spitfire quite often (though she merely finds usable materials, she may uncover an artifact to show Quinn). Quinn is much better at explaining the detail of the artifacts than the other spiral members who speak too fast and brief for any dragon to understand. Though Quinn is very knowledgeable, his tone isn't that of a wise man but rather wise guy. He loves reeling in dragons, who would find lectures dull, with his charismatic behavior and con like speech. Whatever it takes to keep the dragons entertained! Anyone who knows Quinn has noticed several of his quirks. For starters, if his shop ever was under attack, Quinn would act tough only to flee at the last second and running away with most of his goods; however, he does have guards nearby to ask for assistance (guards love listening to the gossip that goes on by the pawn shop).
The next quirk you would notice is that Quinn has an obsession for gold. Quinn seems to love gold too much. When I say too much, I mean in the sense he will be questioned by Jewel where she finds him hoarding uncounted treasure in the cash register. He also loves gold clothing (except for his goggles which no one really knows why they aren't gold, GOLD figure. . . ha ha puns!)
Quinn maybe be a tad bit of a coward, but he makes up for it by being quite intelligent and inventive. He lets Puma hang out at his pawn shop to get ideas for booby traps (to also protect his golden goodies) and watch how the artifacts react with her inventions. To also give him support with the defending of his shop, his Cactus Marzal uses its sharp body and camouflaged appearance (amongst the cactuses Quinn owns- another quirk) to sneak up on suspicious characters and spike them if they try anything. Though dragons usually hate hugging this creature, Quinn's hide is strong enough not to be fazed by the familiar's sharp quills. I guess you can say these two make a PRICKLY PEAR (sorry I couldn't resist the puns). They are so tight as friends that they would never DESERT each other (ha ha more cactus puns). Okay, okay I'll stop telling cactus puns before they get STUCK on you! (Okay I'm done with puns, but you got to say that some of these were UNBELEAFABLE)! :3
