About
He was meant to be heading off in service of Shadowbinder. He went south instead, eventually winding up at the Half Pint. He worked odd jobs at the inn in return for room and board while he figured out what he actually wanted to do with his life.

He is very good with hatchlings, as he discovered when a harried Calypso foisted some of hers onto him one day with an admonishment to "make himself useful." One of those young ones being Loch, with all the unpredictable magic ever present around him as a hatching, it was a pleasant surprise when Oblation turned out to be good with the boy. His calm demeanor even in the face of violent magical outbursts helped Loch immensely, so the daytime babysitting became a permanent arrangement.

He is now the inn's official hatchling babysitter. He usually looks after the children of the inn's workers and merchants, but occasionally a guest will make use of his presence as well. The fulfillment he finds in his job has allowed him to finally begin to relax and enjoy life.
