Hiding beyond sight

His claws gripped at the sand with a skill that was akin to water dragons. Of course it was a skill akin to water dragons- he was told that despite the color of his eyes, he was no different, then why wouldn't he have these skills?
He found his skills in hiding in the seaweed he could grow. It was far from being as powerful as his father's magic, sure, but it was something that set him apart none the less. In a good way too- there was never a dull moment when you had baby dragons scuttling around, wanting to see the small sprouts that grew whenever you planted your claws in soft sand.
He saw himself as leagues below his father. His father though, cherished him closely, being very protective. That's not to say he wasn't like that with the other hatchlings though. His father took him under his wing though, since he was the only one to inherit any type of power. He trained the skydancer to use his power to his advantage- and his mother taught him how to hunt and stalk with it.
He stuck around the sea even after his family had left. He wandered there for a while, before extending his boundaries and setting off to find a clan.
