 "Meow".
The little nocturne was standing there in front of the skydancer, staring at her with a pair of big red eyes.
She stared back for a few seconds before frowning and tilting her head on a side, confused with what she just heard.

"What?" she simply asked.
Hyakkimaru didn't answer, at least he didn't answer in the way Gram was expecting a normal dragon to answer.
Instead, he simply opened his mouth and a tiny, soft meow came out of it.

What. In. Plaguebringer's. Name.

Hyakkimaru has always been weird, he was extremely shy and having a conversation that lasted more than two minutes with him was hard.
The nocturne would start to tremble, stutter and whatnot.
They were used to not really being able to talk to him, or having him partake in clan activities without making a fool of himself or running away to hide somewhere, that, that was way weirder than anything he has ever done.
She was not ready to deal with that sort of stuff first thing in the morning.

"Did you just?"
"I-I'm hungry..." the nocturne explained, rubbing his scaly stomach, which let out a rumble, as if to prove the point made by his owner.
"Then why didn't you go and got yourself breakfast?" Gram asked in an almost exasperated tone.
Hyakkimaru turned his head onto a side before tapping his tail on the floor.
He gazed at it for a few seconds before returning it to Gram, who was still waiting for an answer.
He felt his body getting hotter as he was trying to give her an answer.
She seemed upset enough, and he really didn't want her to get mad at him for that.
He opened his mouth once again, and as earlier, nothing but a meow came out.
Gram gritted her teeth and stared at him for a while before asking him another question.

"Why are you meowing? And why didn't you get yourself breakfast instead of staying here doing this tomfoolery?" Her tone was harsh, she seemed like she was losing her patience trying to stay behind the tiny nocturne's bizarre behavior.
"B-because I-I'm a cat" the other dragon answered, swallowing hard, evidently embarrassed.
Gram blinked.
What?
He didn't just say that, did he?
"You are a cat?" she repeated, feeling stupid for having such a thing coming out of her mouth wingfully.
Hyakkimaru simply nodded.
"Yes, I'm a cat".
"You are not a cat, Hyakkimaru."
There was no way he really thought he could be a cat.
"Y-yes, I am"
"No, you're not. You're a dragon. A nocturne." she blurted out feeling like trying to explain things to a hatchling.
"I-I am a cat dragon" he continued, before meowing again and trying to rub his head against Gram's apparel.

Gram stayed there, silent, without knowing what to do or say anymore.
It was really too early to deal with that sort of things.
