"The strongest source of Arcane magic I've ever seen in my life..." - Kain, the Apothecary

Little is known about the past of Nixie, the dragon who emerged from the cave system on the east of the clan's territory- an out of bounds area. Found by Kain sick and starving, the Bogsneak immediately caught the Pearlcatcher's attention the moment they met. Her eyes were an odd sort, and something that shocked Kain. Immediately realizing the power Nixie held, Kain hid the young Bogsneak in her home. Nixie held Arcane magic, and old Arcane magic. Something that Kain had never seen before, nor can she explain. It seemed almost primeval in nature. And the strangest thing of it all was Hawthorne's words after Nixie arrived.
"She's awakened me."
Unsure of what the hidden drake meant, Kain decided her best course of action was to hide Nixie. She had no other choice. Ray was untrustworthy with the primal dragoness, and Kain was the only one who knew what power Nixie held in her claws.

Found with Nixie were three odd items- a Nickel cat figurine, an odd glass knife, and a Cerdae pendant that Nixie refused to part with, even after letting Kain inspect the other two items. She seemed to have an odd connection with the object, and Kain decided to respect that until Nixie was more comfortable in her surroundings. Nixie remained rather tense, though trusted the older, motherly dragon enough to sleep for the night. Kain, in that moment, took note of how young the Bogsneak was- possibly only having just hatched. Kain was unsure, but she wanted to know multiple things. Mainly, where the baby Bogsneak obtained such powerful Arcane magic. And why, for some reason, Hawthorne had spoken when the Bogsneak came into Kain's life.

Soon after Nixie had awoken the next day, Kain introduced the dragonet to Usha and Zero. Nixie, having already been rather smart for her age, seemed to know Ice Dragons when she saw them, along with Kain being a Lightning Dragon. After awaking, her words seemed to become more focused. Her voice was soft and nervous, as if she knew she had the chance of Ray coming to see her. With the arcane magic surrounding her eyes, Kain, Zero and Usha were sure that Nixie was holding powerful Arcane magic. But none of them were sure how. They only had four Arcane Dragons in the clan, and they didn't have those eyes. So they weren't normal. Kain knew it was likely she'd have to enter into the recesses of the Others' home to find the answer, but Zero was sure there was another explanation to it. Something that Ray had never told them before now. The group, knowing Nixie was in danger, decided to keep her out by the marsh with Kain, which was fine with the Bogsneak. Despite her odd properties, she seemed to like the mud.

The first dragon to meet Nixie after Zero and Usha was Salo, the clan's scientist and most prominent Arcane Dragon. A member of the infamous council, Salo was a gamble for Kain to invite to meet Nixie, but it was a gamble that worked. After all, it managed to bring to light something that Kain hadn't realized before- Nixie couldn't have been from millennia ago, with the first dragons born from the gods and goddesses of the land. She was a Bogsneak. She was not created by one of the gods- something had chosen her. But the problem that came with that was who had done it? Salo did his best, but he couldn't find any scientific reason behind her magic. So it was up to Kain.

Nixie showed an odd knowledge of the Arcane clans, despite having never gone there. With that, Salo and Kain decided on a plan- Nixie, despite her age, would help in the council. However, to avoid Ray, she'd be the Arcane Representative from the background, using Salo as a messenger. At first the plan was to have her simply offer advice, but over time, Kain's feelings began to become more prominent. Hawthorne was getting impatient. Nixie took over, using Salo as a messenger for her words to the council. Salo wasn't worried, but Kain was still confused. Hawthorne wasn't a bad dragon, but she was unsure.

Now, in the recent times of Hawthorne's approaching awakening, Kain has kept her eye on Nixie. She is positive that somehow, the primeval Bogsneak is going to be the start of the end of... something. She is unsure what will end, but she knows that Nixie, Hawthorne, Salo and herself are the strongest players in it. Somehow, they're all going to cause the largest event in the clan's history, ever since the founders left to serve under the Lightweaver. Somehow, something will overtake that, and Nixie is the one calling the shots.
