Ari, along with his brother, Museirroath, was stolen while they were still in their eggs by the Queen's guards to serve as her "Chosen Ones". As a kid, Ari and his brother would play in the Royal Gardens, dancing under trees and hopping over streams, living a relatively carefree life. Little did they know their freedom was not for long.

The Queen had to make sure the intergration was successful. A failure would be a failure to the Shade, and no one might make it out of the experiment alive. No natural dragon would ever accept the Shade as a being of worship, let alone willingly allow it to take over them. So, little by little, they were exposed to it while still at a tender age, when their minds were soft and easy to bend like a young sappling. The older they grew, the more intense and fiercer the lessons became, until they were indoctrinated enough to learn the truth of her teachings and to carry on the legacy.

By this stage, the 2 brothers' minds were already corrupted by the Shade, and both worships it as their savior, but only Ari vowed to protect the Queen wholeheartedly. He will one day master the Dark Arts and serve as the Queen's official head bodyguard and minion. Despite his reliance on the Queen for orders and guidance, he's already pretty independant on his own capabilities and abilities. He can transform himself into a Tengu which he uses to lure and spy on unsuspecting dragons.
