Biography

Nyhrene is a pretty tundra, and nothing proclaims innocence more loudly than in the form of pretty bows and bright green Wind eyes. She takes care to maintain her looks every now and then, indulging in long grooming sessions.

Being from a Wind clan (though neither of her parents are Wind dragons), Nyhrene loves the feel of wind ruffling her fur and enticing her to the sky. She brings the Wind dragons' love of feathers with her, collecting feathers at every given opportunity, as well as fur, cloth, jewels, and trinkets. Of all the dragons in the clan, Nyhrene is probably the most "hoard-y" in terms of collecting and keeping items. It's grown to the point where even her mate, Ashfall, brings in such items to help add to the hoard, causing some of the clan to think that he's caught the hoarding bug as well. The pair has already had to expand twice to accommodate the amount of items being collected, and that isn't even half the problem--Nyhrene has taken a liking to raising birds as well, from creatures like Blue Throated Budgies to Mallards and Silver-Laced Roosters. Indeed, this herbivore seems to have taken a liking to raising meat items, which the carnivorous dragons of the clan don't particularly appreciate when she moderates just how much they are allowed to eat of each type of bird.

Although in response to the overwhelming collection of fur, cloth, feathers, and more, Nyhrene has turned to the profession of art, craftily knotting things together to create quite fashionable apparel. Because of this, she has even overcome the herbivorous pattern and has started collecting bones of all different kinds as well, making all kinds of apparel as she goes. Since she's started her profession as an artist, her immense hoard has lessened somewhat, but the number of feathers continue to grow as her flocks of birds do, so it really doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hoarding habit aside, Nyhrene is a loyal clan member and a good mother, helping many nesting pairs with the job of keeping their eggs well conditioned and safe so that they can take a break from their work. She is also very chatty, as far as tundras go anyway, and loves clothing.
