Qian Kun was born on January 1st, 1996 in Fujian, China. He first "debuted" in NCT in the Chinese Version of "Without You" alongside Taeil, Jaehyun, and Doyoung on April 11th, 2016. After that, Kun wasn't included in any songs or promotions until he was featured in "Yearbook #1" that was released on SM's channel on January 30th, 2018 for the upcoming release of "NCT 2018: Empathy".
He got to promote with the group for "Black on Black" but he didn't have any singing parts, so many fans thought he didn't really debut yet. The rumor of a Chinese subunit for NCT was hinted for about a year and was finally revealed on December 31st, 2018 with the teaser "Feel the V". It featured members Ten, Winwin, and Lucas and debuted three new members, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. Their first release was "Regular" on January 17th, 2019.
This is the third version of this song, with prior releases being in Korean and English. Their first original song was "Dream Launch" and the music video for that dropped on January 24th, 2019.
