Esther

Her quiet demeanor is the result of inattentive parents and a lifelong sense of abandonment. Though she isn't Kylnmae's biological daughter, Esther sees the Lightborn as her foster parent. While Ariette ignored the bright young hatchling, Kylnmae took her under her wing both figuratively and literally. Esther doesn't hate her mother, however, and the two have mended their relationship in recent years. She simply never felt the love of a mother from the vain skydancer who preferred the company of male dragons to her own children. Since her nestmate, Edgar, left the clan to study under the Arcanist, she's thrown her entire being into her healing magic to try and help the clan she so loves, desperate to prove her worth somehow.
