Originally the old, abandoned mansion of a vampiric count, The Blackspire Manor has since been repolished and restored to it's former glory. Tall, ebony pillars, border the expansive mansion. The inside is even more decked out in velvet carpets, golden beads, and candles in every hallway.

King Bacchus originally had it restored to be a vacation home of his, but when an outbreak of spirits began to run rampant throughout the mansion, he had to postpone his use. Bacchus sent down 5 dragons to clear the spirits away, Wolfsbane, a generous leader with an ability to direct others. Isavar, the High Priest of the Clergy of Kings, a religious group worshiping the Lightweaver under the King's careful watch. Xerxes, an intelligent woman with many years of pranormal research behind her. Carolina, a sorceress experienced in necromancy and communication with the undead. And Filipa, a talented engineer and architect.

The team arrived at the mansion, and began their work on ushering the spirits back to their realm. But weeks later, a curse fell upon the Sunbeam Kingdom, plunging it into an eternal night, a hard hit for the people, who worshiped the sun as much as they did their Lightweaver. This curse made the King abandon his priority at Blackspire. He stopped paying Wolfsbane and his team, he stopped sending them updates, he cut them off altogether. So Wolfsbane took care of his team, keeping their morale high.

Aethos, the king of the Spirit Realm, took notice to their anguish. Instead of having his spirits run rampant, he decided to side with Wolfsbane, in exchange for cutting contact with the king, and establishing Blackspire as its own home, not something that belonged to the King. Spirits would be treated like friends, not as pests. Wolfsbane agreed.

Blackspire is now a home to any dragon who feels betrayed by the kingdom. Ex members of the clergy, dragons on the run for their crimes. Wolfsbane welcomes them with open arms.
