As one of the few dragons that dare venture to the cold and harsh icy wastelands, Sherla was named a scout. She was born a shadow dragon, but the cold has a grip on her that she can't shake. She's gone from the clan a majority of the time, not getting a chance to find that special someone. Whatever she finds, she normally brings back unless it would help her more than her clan. Completely devoted to her clan and alpha, she relies on Hail to deliver messages to her clan and bring back recourses if she gets too low.
Sherla was born in the shadow domain, but nowhere near her current clans territory. Her old clan wouldn't let her go as far as the domain borders, let alone across and to the ice domain, so she left. She traveled for sometime before she came across the small settlement ran by a fae named Kiama. Kiama welcomed her with open arms and showed her around, and helped her get settled into her new life. Sherla was unsure if she was going to stay, however and brought up the question to Kiama, could she go beyond the domain borders? Kiama was thoughtful, and said yes, and actually thanked Sherla for giving her the idea to create a role just for this, the Scout role. Sherla was the very first scout and has been one ever since.
She met hail on one of her trips, he was injured and vulnerable to the harsh climate. She helped nurse him back to health. When she left to head back to her clan, he tried to follow but she made him stay. The next trip he was waiting for her. This cycle continued until eventually she gave in and let him come home with her.
