Mary is a kind hearted yet ferocious Pearlcatcher that fell into the Wyrmwound when she was a teenager. She can hardly recall how her life was before falling or why she fell, and even after she had gotten out (surprinsingly alive) the memories are blurry at best.

Her memories start to solidify a decade after or so, when she met Bloody Sky, the Plagued Soul's Leader. They meeting was a rough one at first, but even at that time she took a liking to him, despite their clashings, when he approached her asking for a truce she was pleasantly surprised.

Together with him they slowly build what today is the base of their clan, The Wormhole, a series of interconnected tunnels that house and protect all the clan members, despite being already big enough to fit a hundred dragons, its always being expanded by her and the others.

Despite playing a more passive role, Mary is considered the Second Leader by her peers, Bloody Sky's explosive personality and hot headness doesn't help much when it comes to diplomacy and so she takes care of that in his place, she also placates the discussions and disputes within the clan and thanks to that she ended up with the role of an unoficial judge of sorts.

Pearlcatcher dragons are haughty, independent creatures who consider themselves apart from the rest of dragonkind, Mary has lost such traits even before falling into the Wyrmwound, but after, she started acting more like a Tundra then a Pearlcatcher per se, relying more on her sense of smell to remember others than her own memories. The Pearlcatcher species originates from the Sunbeam Ruins, where their population continues to thrive.

Pearlcatchers are a mid-sized breed. Females possess a single, shining horn, while males have two. These dragons have compact bodies and leathery wings, though Mary's have mutated and are reinforced by layers of muscle, giving her sturdier wings, but also heavier, that's why she takes some time to gain altitude when flying. They posses a short, coarse mane runs down the length of their head and neck, and tufts of fur sprout from their elbows, ankles, and tail tips, thanks to the mutations by the Wyrmwound hers is even coarser then normal, almost wiry in texture. They also have two long, sensitive whiskers grow from their muzzles, and they have large, mobile ears capable of independent movement.

BATTLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Despite living for most part of her life in the Wastelands and even fallen in the Wyrmwound and getting out alive, something many dragons devoted to the Plaguebringer would be jealous of, Mary doesn't feel the urge to spread the infection like some of her clan and most dragons of the plague territory, this doesn't meant she isn't a fighter though.

Through the course of the years she faced many enemies, though most of them she can't even remember the name. For a great portion of her life she fought alone and for herself only, but after meeting Bloody Sky her perspective changed as well as her strenght, if she was one of the best before, she became invincible with the weight of her comrades' lives in her shoulders.

She's merciless and vicious in battle, not minding to use dirty tricks if it meant she can win, her tactics resemble those of the many Mirrors she clashed in the Wastes, and thanks to that she gained many downright scary monikers between her enemies.
