| Lorelai out on her scavenging trips with fellow members of the clan had stumbled upon a lonesome Shadow egg- long gone from its nest with barely a glow left within its shell. In a bout of panic, Lorelai began to cry out to the Dragon within- a somber roar from the mother of the Galiel clan. Soon, Gaelin joined with a sonorous roar as well for she felt the pain from both Lorelai and the egg itself. |
| With both of the women's cry the egg began to grow brighter, cracks forming as out burst forth a rather plucky Fae hatchling. However, the magicks of Shadowbinder are a weird beast- as he folded out his wings his body began to morph into that of a Nocturne. Lorelai stared in utter shock, turning towards Gaelin. "This boy is a prophet of the Shadowbinder, I am sure of it." |

| As Nox grew, he took studies under the wing of Sylvar- obsessed with any and all books on Magic. Sylvar took note of this, assigning him as the scholar of Magic and helped Nox harness his own magical ability within. Nox was a quick learner, swiftly picking up new Shadow spell after spell. He even loves witnessing the magicks of other flights and creatures; so much so that he often is found taking notes on the battlefield. |
