Xalek is viewed as an wild animal to outsiders of his clan. He has a strong belief of "kill or be killed" the pearlcatcher enjoys fighting. He prefers to let his actions speak for him, rather than his words.

Honor is something Xalek holds close to him, he holds his family and culture close to him. The pearlcatcher is faithfully loyal to anybody he considered family. Like most of his clan, burial is something they hold close to him. Xalek rushed to his father after he died to give him a proper burial. In a belief that he would rise to godhood if given a proper burial. He returned to his father's grave to find out somebody has dug it up. Xalek went into a fit of rage and vengeance killing whoever dug him up.

Like his clan, Xalek believes that certain actions will deem them godhood after death. He hates extended conversations. Speaking very bluntly and to the point.
