Biography


CyberPlague was a guard for hire in the Plague flight who held himself to be as honorable as a guard could be. Cyber guarded people who needed it, not for treasure. There were many times where he would guard those who were too poor to own any treasure that needed protecting from thieves or the rich. It was more often than not, the latter. It was his last job that was what caused his exile.
His job was to protect a merchant on his way to his client. Cyber didn't know what wares this merchant was to sell, the merchant said it was none of his concern, he just had to worry about getting the merchant and his wares to their destination. This was the first thing that worried him. He liked knowing what he was transporting, but the merchant wouldn't say.
The road to the destination was uneventful so Cyber tried to initiate some small talk to pass the time. The merchant reply was that he wasn't there to talk but to guard him. This concerned and angered Cyber. The merchants that he usually guarded were usually quite chatty, usually talking about places they had been, the wonders that had seen, the sales they had sold, or tales they had acquired. The part that worried him was that the road had been clear for the most part. Usually, there was a bandit or misfit that caused trouble along the way but not this time. Cyber was tempted to leave the merchant just out of him being rude, but he honored himself of never leaving a client behind. This is where his problem started.
Once Cyber and the merchant got to the destination, Cyber realized what was happening, but it was too late.
