Belladonna
Poison Dragon

From the day her magic manifested, Belladonna was completely and entirely toxic. If she stays in a room too long, her breath would make people dizzy. Her claws drip venom and her scales shine like a dart frog. She was sold to mercenaries, who made deadly arrows from her. One day, she gained the courage to paralyze her captors and fly away, seeking refuge. Aiofe gives anyone a home, even dangerous dragons. She was too desperate for interaction to isolate herself, and became fast friends with Mierna. Mierna teetering between reality and unreality kept her safe from any noxious fog, and they helped each other learn to control their magic. Since her magic is so deeply bound to her, she can only hold it in and has to release it, but she's overjoyed that she can give hugs. Releasing the poison isn't an ordeal, and she loves being able to help Maisha make antitoxins and medicine. Because of living in fear in her youth, she is very shy. While she is still introverted and jumpy, she isn’t instinctively afraid of everyone anymore. She helps Maisha with medicine, since you need a sample of a poison to make a cure. It helps her associate her power with something good, and makes her feel at home with her friends. Once, while helping Mierna research something for a hyperfixation, she met Cerise, the classic mutual friend meeting. They became an amazingly close trio of friends, and Cerise and Belladonna eventually fell in love. For some time, they were both oblivious to the other's pining, and Mierna had to play matchmaker to get them both to realize the feeling was mutual. They're both quiet and don't like to talk much, and they can enjoy each other's company. They've decided to have kids together. It was Bella's idea, but she was still nervous. Three happy, healthy dragonets eased her anxiety more than anything else could have.
