Dune, by nature, has always been curious. Being raised by the Oasis' plentiful dragons never squandered the desire to see the world. When she was of age, she left nothing but a note to go and find various artifacts left by previous societies.
Dune is cold and fairly calculated and takes her work very seriously. Previously working with someone who was obsessed with fame she's grown rather strict on making sure that her motive isn't that. Research over fame, any day of the week.
Her work partner is Naos, the two work well together and is one of the only dragons Dune feels comfortable being a little more lax and less strict around but they have a long way to go before she fully lets her guard down.

Work brings a fair amount of coin, and when the fire of the grotto hit, Dune was all claws on deck helping with what she could. Despite the loss of her childhood home, Dune couldn't help but be rather taken by the new marketplace set up of her clan's home. It was bringing in all sorts of wonderful wierdos, people who'd adventure, just like her!
Dune would sometimes stop by her old clan to say hello every now and again but with the clan being such a huge trading hub by now she finds it a lot easier to make an excuse to go over.
