How do I frame my feather painting?
I use a variety of frames for my feather paintings, Album frames, shadow boxes, and regular frames. I usually use either matte board, felt, leather, etc for the background. Or nothing for floating frames (see Duck and Turkey painting).
Will moths/insects eat the feather painting?
No, not once I have sprayed a varnish onto the feather to protect the painting. The painting will then be insect proof and water resistant.
