Huntress & Pelt Trader
Bare Beast • "she/her"

Searing Jackalope Pelt Featherback Pelt Lizardscale Cloth
Aelwen is a huntress and pelt trader. She sorts and prepares pelts that she gathers during her hunts or obtains from the warriors. She works with all sorts of pelts - from fluff to feathers to non-dragon scales. Some of the pelts go to the seamstresses and tailors for clothing and decorative purposes.

Aelwen is mostly quiet and keeps to herself. She prefers to stay busy and tends to fidget and pace around when there's nothing to be done. If not processing hides and pelts, she can be found outside the tower, practicing her archery skills near the barracks. She is somewhat self-conscious due to her odd appearance and lack of scales, so she covers up her body with a variety of pelts and feathers to make up for it. Though, most of her clan mates don't even mind.

During the winter, Aelwen struggles to keep herself warm and will surround herself in comfortable, warm clothing. She does much less hunting during this season and relies on the warriors for her trade.

»[Lore: Bare Beasts]«
Among dragons there is a condition that some are born with that limits scale growth. These dragons have few to no scales and are quite vulnerable with exposed skin. In some places of Sornieth many of these dragons will gather together to make a clan. Unfortunately this means the gene is almost guaranteed to be passed down to their offspring, but it does also offer a bit of safety in numbers as well as understanding.
