"Insert your dragon's quote here." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ “Do you have your journal?” “Yes...” “Extra ink?” “Yes...” “Oh, and your—?” “Yes Ciela, I have everything. For you not going on this trip, I feel like you should be going instead of me.” Cameron chuckled. 
The dark blue Skydancer ruffled her feathers at him for a moment then when back to checking the sacks and crates. “For a short trip around Sornieth, you packed a lot.” A deeper growl echoed behind Cameron as the ground shook slightly as Orpheus landed. The towering dark Imperial shook his mane as he looked down at all the supplies. Most of the sacks and crates were small and could easily fit in his side satchels but the little Nocturne was more of a concern. Orpheus did travel a lot as he was the main source of trade and information between clans and flights around Silver Starfall. He did not care much for extra travelers especially on his global excursions. Ciela said that this was an exception because he was to be an Ambassador for the clan. Politics... I never understood what all the bustle is about it... “Orpheus, you are here. Finally!” Ciela flapped up and landed on the Imperial’s snout, “Now the stops your are taking should be regimented out in two month long visits so Cameron can have the fullest experiences outside the Plateau.” “Alright little parakeet,” Orpheus puffed a breath upwards, swirling Ciela upward in a blast of air. She let out an undignified squawk. She landed back on Orpheus’s snout and stuck a claw finger at one of his eyes. “PARAKEET! I should have Merlot teach you a few pointers in tactfulness!” Ciela ruffled her feathers straight and they smoothed out, “I gave Cameron the supplies and trade lists, he will be doing most of the negotiations on this trip.” “Anything else?” “Umm—,”Ciela thought for a moment, “Nope, since I can’t get anything else through that thick skull of yours, anyway.” She hopped off his snout and swooped back down to Cameron. “Alright, Orpheus, he is under your charge now! Play nicely!” She pats Cameron on the shoulder and enters back among the buildings. Orpheus lowered his large satchels to the ground and opened them so the supplies could be loaded in. 
“Come up here, little friend, and let me get a good look at you.” Orpheus addressed Cameron. Other dragons were loading the satchels, so Cameron lifted off up to the Imperial’s snout. “Hi! Umm—I’m Cameron.” “Have they been feeding you well?” “Yes, Tiffany packed me some extra cookies for the trip.” “That little green coatl? She seems to be watching from the balcony over there.” 
Cameron turned around to see Tiffany standing outside of her office watching the events below. Cameron’s face flushed as she did remember the date he was leaving. She had her nose in few ledgers when he told her so he was not sure she heard him. “You have an inkling for her?” One large eyebrow raised slightly. “No, more of a business admiration. We work together.” “Mmm—hmm...” “Okay Orpheus! Everything is loaded.” A bright red Tundra with white wings flew up with this information, “Have a safe trip,” she looked over at Cameron, “both of you.” “Thank you, Celeste.” Cameron gave the Tundra a smile. “Alright, little friend, get comfortable between my antlers, it will be a couple days trip to the Sunbeam Ruins.” Orpheus picked up his satchels and fastened them close. Shifting them back around his waist, he felt the nocturne adjust against his forehead. Tiffany watched Orpheus unfurl his wings and lift in the sky, taking Cameron with him. She sighed and turned back to the balcony doors. She felt a little pang of sadness watching him leave. “I guess it is just motherly instinct.” She tried to reason with her true feelings. She walked back into the empty, quiet office and closed the doors.
