______ Death is one of the many dragons in a growing kingdom. She watches over the hatchlings, even though she's considered threatening by the various young dragons. Though, at one point in her life she was happily leaping across bright skies, cutting the clouds with her wings. She had friends who loved being around her, apart from a blood red mirror who had plans for her and an aspiring kingdom. She would bare his children and together they would create a home for lost, sickly dragons.


______ But she refused. She had no intention of leaving everyone behind, or the people she loved. But he wouldn't take no for an answer. He beat her ruthlessly into submission until she finally agreed to come with him. Her body was covered in frightening wounds shaking across her scales. She tried to tell her friends goodbye but they ran off in horror. Death was hurt in the inside more than her body. She covered herself in bandages and slowly slugged after the mirror as they left. No home, no friends, and a mate who could kill her at any opportunity.
